Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Neuro Focus ("the App"), developed by Dmitry Kalinin ("we", "us"), handles information when you download and use it on iOS and Android.

The short version: the App does not collect any personal data at all. The sections below cover this in the detail App Store and Google Play require, so you can read exactly what that means in practice.

Neuro Focus does not require registration or an account, and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information.

We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, precise or approximate location, contacts, photos, or any other personal data, and the App does not transmit any information to us or to any server — it has no backend.

The App stores a small amount of data locally on your device using standard platform storage (such as shared preferences): your best score and streak, your current difficulty level, and your in-app settings.

This information never leaves your device. We have no access to it, no copy of it, and no way to see it — it exists only in the App's local storage on your phone or tablet.

Neuro Focus does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, photo library, or any other sensitive device permission. It needs no special permissions to run.

The App does not integrate any analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs, and it does not display ads or use any third-party tracking service. No data is shared with third parties because none is collected in the first place.

Neuro Focus is suitable for a general audience, including children. Because the App collects no personal data from any user, it does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the relevant age of consent in your country), and it complies with COPPA and similar regulations by design rather than through data-handling procedures.

Since no personal data is transmitted off your device, there is no server-side data to secure. Locally stored data is protected by your device's own operating system sandboxing, the same way any other app's local settings are protected.

Because everything is stored locally, you are always in full control: uninstalling the App permanently deletes its score, streak, and settings from your device. There is no account to delete and no remote copy to request, because none exists.

Regulations such as the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA give you rights over personal data that a company holds about you — such as the right to access, correct, or delete it. Because Neuro Focus does not collect or hold any personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf; any data related to your use of the App already resides solely on your own device, under your own control.

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the App adds a feature that does collect data — we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date above before that version is released.
